Just the other day I got an email from a lady who’s been corresponding with me since the time she started smoking (which was fairly recently — she’d been a non-smoker for a long time.) In the email, she told me that she woke up in the morning “wanting a cigarette like never before”. She said she lit up immediately took two deep drags. “I got a such a buzz!”, she told me. I could tell she was really thrilled about it. She also mentioned that she couldn’t wait for her first coffee break at work since she knew she was REALLY going to enjoy smoking.
Truth? Truth is that I was as thrilled as she was. I asked her how she was going to celebrate. She hasn’t written back, so I’ll put the question to all of you: “How would you celebrate your passage from occasional smoker to craven addict?”
